Purchase and Redemption Terms
All advertised prices include applicable taxes and processing fees unless otherwise stated.
Gift Cards and Experience Purchases
Cardinal Wings gift cards and their underlying funds expire five years from the date of purchase. The expiration date must appear on the electronic gift card. No dormancy, inactivity or administrative fees will be charged.
When a specific flight, tour or experience is purchased, the purchased package and advertised price are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months and until the five-year expiration date, the original amount paid may be applied toward the same or another eligible Cardinal Wings product at its then-current price. The customer is responsible for any difference between the original amount paid and the current advertised price.
Reservations
Advance reservations are required and are subject to aircraft, instructor or pilot availability; weather; maintenance; weight and balance; passenger limitations; and other safety or operational considerations.
Purchasers and participants must provide accurate passenger counts, passenger weights and any information reasonably requested for safe flight planning. Government-issued identification, waivers, rental agreements or guardian authorization may be required as applicable.
Weather, Maintenance and Operational Changes
All flights are subject to the final approval of the pilot in command or instructor. Cardinal Wings may delay, modify, reschedule or cancel a flight because of weather, maintenance, aircraft availability, air traffic, weight and balance, safety or other operational considerations.
If Cardinal Wings delays, cancels or reschedules a flight for one of these reasons, the customer retains the full amount paid and may reschedule without penalty. These circumstances do not, by themselves, entitle the customer to a refund.
Cardinal Wings is not responsible for incidental or consequential expenses, including transportation, lodging, meals or other arrangements made in connection with the scheduled experience.
Aircraft Availability and Discontinued Experiences
Aircraft assignments are subject to availability and may change because of maintenance, operational requirements, fleet changes or aircraft replacement.
If an aircraft associated with an experience is temporarily unavailable, Cardinal Wings may reschedule the experience or, with the customer’s agreement, provide it in a reasonably comparable aircraft.
If an aircraft is sold, permanently removed from service or otherwise unavailable and Cardinal Wings can no longer reasonably provide the purchased experience, the customer may:
- Transfer the full amount paid to another available Cardinal Wings product;
- Accept a reasonably comparable substitute experience; or
- Receive a refund of the unused amount originally paid.
Routes and Durations
Published flight durations and sightseeing-route distances are approximate. Actual flight time, route and sights may vary because of weather, air traffic, airspace restrictions, safety or operational requirements.
A reasonable variation in route or duration does not entitle the purchaser or participant to a refund when the purchased experience has otherwise been substantially provided.
Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule without penalty by providing at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled arrival time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests received less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival time may be subject to a rebooking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price. Failure to appear without notice may result in forfeiture of the scheduled experience. Cardinal Wings may waive these provisions when circumstances warrant.
Final Sales and Refunds
All purchases are final and nonrefundable.
Weather, maintenance, aircraft availability, air traffic, safety or other operational circumstances may require a flight to be delayed, modified or rescheduled. The full amount paid will remain available for rescheduling in accordance with these terms.
If Cardinal Wings permanently discontinues a purchased experience or is unable to provide it within a reasonable period, the customer may accept a reasonably comparable substitute or apply the full amount paid toward another available Cardinal Wings product. If Cardinal Wings cannot provide the purchased experience and the customer does not accept a substitute, Cardinal Wings will refund the unused amount originally paid.
Cardinal Wings may approve additional refunds or exceptions at its discretion. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or remedy required by applicable law.
Transfers
Gift cards and unused experience purchases may be transferred to another eligible participant without charge, subject to the same expiration, scheduling, passenger, qualification and operational requirements. They may not be resold commercially or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Included Items
Items advertised as included—such as a logbook, T-shirt, chocolates, rose or restaurant gift certificate—are provided once per booking unless otherwise stated. If a particular third-party item becomes unavailable, Cardinal Wings may substitute an item of reasonably comparable type and value.
Participant Eligibility
Participation is subject to applicable age, identification, guardian-authorization, seating, passenger, weight-and-balance, insurance and operational requirements. Cardinal Wings may decline or modify participation when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or aircraft limitations.
Acceptance
By completing a purchase, scheduling a reservation or participating in a flight, the purchaser and participant acknowledge and accept these terms and any applicable waivers, rental agreements or participant forms.
